This is a personal project, a video montage of people on the pier, Santa Monica, Calif. It’s my first test project with the 5d. Using a 24-70mm, an ND Fader and the small zacuto rig .

Continue ReadingThe plight of the Eritrean refugees in Sudan is absolutely dire. Some people have lived in these camps for 30 to 40 years and for some its all they have known of life. How can this be just, right or ok?? Witnessing this level of poverty and neglect i experienced a profound grief for humanity. Tears for the numb, broken heart of humanity that turns a blind eye to such incredible levels of anguish and injustice.
I filmed this in the summer of 2008. The brilliant Jeff MacIntyre did a fabulous job on the voiceover and editing.
